The City of Clovis began its' illustrious and profitable existence as a transportation-based settlement. The legacy of its origin still sits firmly at the Railroad yard, which could become the anchor of downtown Clovis. Like all successful redevelopment projects, the dynamic group of privately held historic properties has the right mix of ingredients to create commercial vitality and to catalyze downtown's economic comeback.
